– A watercistern carries water.

Aquarius may have been derived from the Greek god Poseidon and the Egyptian god Canopus.Canopus was the Egyptian god of water.

which lasts
from the 20th of january untill the 19th of february.

Together with all the other “magicly aligned” coincidences in the Elisa Lam mystery, it looks like if someone aligned everything in such details almost to the point of emphasising the importance of it all.

Aquarius in the sky.

Constellation of Aquarius

Aquarius is an old constellation. Also known as the Water Carrier or Water    Bearer (cistern?) he is carved in stones of the Babylonian Empire and probably is still older than that period. Others must have regarded Aquarius, as the God of the Water, as a good god and a bad god by some, depending on the prevailing climate of their region. He is the bringer and taker of life.”

WHAT IS THE AGE OF AQUARIUS?

Vera Reid takes a common position expressed by many astrologers and New Agers about the Age of Aquarius. Reid sees the Age of Aquarius as that time when humankind takes control of the Earth and its own destiny as its rightful heritage. As such, humankind will become the “Son of God” (Aquarius). Reid believed that the keyword for Aquarius is ‘enlightenment‘. The destiny of humankind in the Age of Aquarius is the revelation of truth and the expansion of consciousness.Reid also believed that the many crises the world is experiencing are attributable to the waning days of the Age of Pisces meeting the incoming tide of Aquarius, with the transition between ages lasting approximately 280 years. Reid also promoted the idea that some people will experience mental enlightenment in advance of others and therefore be recognized as the new leaders in the world.

EVERY GREAT AGE HAS ITS OWN GOD AND MESSIAH

“Every Great Age has had its predictable and identifiable Gods and/or Messiahs. When the Aquarian God, or shall we call
him the coming Messiah, makes himself known in the years to come, how will we recognize him to be the long-awaited Messiah who will rule over the Great Age of Aquarius? [According to today’s count, the Great Ages last for a period of 2160 years.] The answer is much simpler than we might expect, especially when we look back into history and see that the Astrological sign that ruled a particular Great Age, clearly reveals how past religions, and their ‘gods’, reflect the expected Astrological pattern of that Age. The most vivid picture comes to us from the Age of Pisces, which is now coming to a  close, but the Astrological pattern of the past 2000 years was truly that of the sign of Pisces.

Pisces is a feminine water sign that was once ruled solely by Jupiter until 1846, when at that time, the discovery of a ‘new’ planet, Neptune, took its place in the forefront of the Great Age of Pisces. Pisces is a very nebulous sign, which suggests mystery, secrets, and misconceptions, which there were plenty of during the past 2000 years or so. The symbol for Pisces is that of a fish, or two fishes swimming away from each other – the fish symbol is depicted in Christian tradition in several ways. Not only does it reveal two ‘fish’ swimming in opposite directions – seen in Catholicism and Protestantism, but there were originally the two ‘legs’ of Rome, eastern and western, that indicated the religion and empire was going in two separate directions. Pisces is very much a feminine sign, and should have been represented by a goddess, rather than a male god, however, with the sign’s negative traits come unscrupulous deception and cover-up. Male figureheads who took over the important positions during the Age of Pisces, wished to conceal the feminine aspect of Pisces, so therefore, they promoted a male god and placed men in all leading roles of the establishment. A Virgin Mary, mother of the Piscean God, known as Jesus, was given a somewhat lofty position in the Roman Catholic Church, but she waned out in later off-shoots of Christianity. Instead, the male architects of the religion gave the ‘Church’, itself, a feminine implication when referring to the institution as a body; it was ‘she’, or ‘her’, as if the establishment itself was a woman. Likewise, the evil ‘woman’, spoken of in Biblical scripture – especially the book of Revelation, came to represent a mysterious Babylon, the ‘false’ religion – as opposed to the ‘true church’, and this is pretty much how the feminine side was presented. The religion of the Age of Pisces was Christianity, and the nation and people of Pisces were the Romans.

The ancient Hebrew people, today known only as the Jewish community, was the ‘people and nation’ representing the Great Age of Aries. Just as the Ram symbolizes Aries astrologically, the Israelites made the Ram their sacrificial animal, while still using a Ram’s horn for sounding their shofars. Mars, the planet that rules the Astrological sign of Aries, reflects a very powerful leader, and Moses was such an Arian leader, and it was Moses who witnessed the burning bush of an Aries fire -matching perfectly that Great fire sign of the Age.  Mars, a war-like planet – was reflected in the warrior predisposition promoted by YHWH/Marduk, to his people. Egypt was the people and nation of the Age of Taurus. The Israelites marched out of Egypt, following their leader, destined to pursue their Mars-like God, on a course that took them across many dangerous journeys.

UPDATE: ELISA LAM MYSTERY TUMBLR THE HERMIT AND MORE ALEISTER CROWLEY

with one comment

TUMBLR UPDATING AWKWARD REBLOGS!

Just a few days ago Elisa’s tumbler reblogged some images which ( I am not suprised) eerie enough seem as if they connect to her faith. Users of tumblr can queu images way ahead of time so they appear later on their page and this seems to be the case with Elisa’s. Nonetheless, with all the above mentioned “coincidences”… who is still suprised?

28th of january 2013,  the following image of a tarotcard called “the Hermit” appeared on Elisa’s tumblr:

Now why do i find this relevant you might ask.  well..first of all:
The Hermit (IX) is the ninth trump or Major Arcana card in most traditional Tarot decks. It is used in game playing as well as in divination.

Aleister Crowley created his own tarot cards, the “Toth” tarot deck. The cards were

Aleister Crowley's The Hermit, Toth tarot deck.

illustrated by Lady Frieda Harris in 1944. Crowley, as the novelist that he was, also wrote a poem called the Hermit.

Aleister Crowley’s poem “The Hermit”

The Hermit

AN ATTACK ON BARBERCRAFT

[Dedicated to George Cecil Jones]

At last an end of all I hoped and feared!
Muttered the hermit through his elfin beard.

Then what art thou? the evil whisper whirred.
I doubt me soerly if the hermit heard.

To all God’s questions never a word he said,
But simply shook his venerable head.

God sent all plagues; he laughed and heeded not,
Till people certified him insane.

But somehow all his fellow-luntaics
Began to imitate his silly ticks.

And stranger still, their prospects so enlarged
That one by one the patients were discharged.

God asked him by what right he interfered;
He only laughed and into his elfin beard.

When God revealed Himself to mortal prayer
He gave a fatal opening to Voltaire.

Our Hermi had dispensed with Sinai’s thunder,
But on the other hand he made no blunder;

He knew ( no doubt) that any axiom
Would furnish bricks to build some Donkeydom.

But!-all who urged that hermit to confess
Caught the infection of his happiness.

I would it were my fate to dree his weird;
I think that I will grow an elfin beard.

The Hermit is also the  initiation process for becomming a  member  within Thelema cults like Goldendawn. You know… the cults i mentioned before with the religion based on the works of occultist  Aleister Crowley, the guy from the “coincidentally” fitting poem “Jephtha

“Thelemic initiation is a threefold process, having three principal grades of attainment, called the Hermit, the Lover, and the Man of Earth.”

“…the work of the Hermit is (1) to be a Master of the Universe and tend his/her “garden” of disciples (2) to be a Master of Magick and utter the Word of his/her True Self (3) to be a Master of all modes of existence, and attain The All in All. These are, however, very limited definitions of the threefold work of each grade, yet do they define the general quality of that work.”

WHAT DOES THE HERMIT TAROT CARD MEAN?

Introduction: The Hermit is an extremely spiritual card, and often has to do with institutions and large organizations – everything from a bank to the entire Christian Church. This card indicates spirituality even if you are an atheist. It’s in whatever sense the word “spirit” makes sense to you, even if for you “spirit” equates to “emotion.” You may be trying hard to figure out what the “truth” is about someone (or some matter), don’t feel that you have to do it all on your own, ask for help if you need it to gain different perspectives, more information, etc.

In our fast-paced, harried world of today, we would all do well to do as the hermit does. The Hermit’s stride is slow but sure. He takes each step with a deliberate, conscious approach – knowing that each step of the journey is a small imprint upon the larger picture of his path. He does everything in this manner – each breath he takes, each word he speaks, every decision he makes is a deliberate act.

This is one prime source of the Hermit’s wisdom. In recognizing that each of our thoughts and actions is a brick we use to build our lives, we partake in the creation of our own reality. The Hermit has had to learn this lesson by means of distancing himself from the regular, routine world. By removing himself from the “normal” stream of societal thought, the Hermit is able to listen to the inner stirrings of his own intuition and act upon it.

In much the same way, by turning off our telephones, switching off our televisions, and removing ourselves from the barrage of external chatter – we are able to finally hear the small voice from within that leads us to higher ground.

The Hermit walks a fine line. By purposefully choosing to remove himself from society he also runs the risk of being misunderstood and labeled inappropriate. These labels do not concern him as his path of spiritual knowing and higher wisdom are his prime concerns.

The path of the Hermit is certainly not for everyone, but we all have parts of ourselves that need a little quiet time at the least. When the Hermit shows up in a reading it often refers to a need to be still, contemplate, meditate, observe what is going on before any further action is taken.

Key Symbols Relative to Hermit Tarot Card Meanings:
This section focuses in on a few select symbols that can help us further define the Hermit Tarot card meanings.

Staff: Appearing as an attribute amongst pilgrims, saints and even priests, the staff is an emblem of power and authority. The staff is in the Hermit’s left hand, representing the hand of higher awareness (subconscious mind). In this case the staff represents the Hermit’s ability to use his isolation and the knowledge he has gained as a tool upon his path to even higher levels of awareness.
.

Stance: The Hermit stands upon the precipice of an icy mountain. This symbolizes the heights of his journey, and further intensifies the feeling of his isolation. Mountains typically symbolize achievement, growth, and accomplishment. The symbolism in this case is the Hermit has achieved his goal and he is continuing the path he has chosen, committed to his endeavor of ultimate awareness.
.

Star: The star of David shines brightly within his lantern. Biblically, David is means “beloved of God” and so the light from the star symbolizes the light of God. Further inspection of the star reveals that it is comprised of two triangles, one inverted, the other erect. This is a common symbol for male & female, or opposing/balancing energies. In the context of the Hermit, this symbol represents balance, and using the energies together for the purpose of spiritual advancement.
